More about Christian prayer

Imagine, if you will, that you are either Adam or Eve in the garden before the fall.  I say imagine because that's where God wants you and I.  He longs to walk with us as Adam and Eve did before the fall.  Can you imagine talking with God when he walked in the garden with you?  Can you imagine being able to have questions answered, problems solved and peace all about you?  Can you imagine that you are so loved by God that you have no other focus than being in His presence being loved and loving him.  If you can imagine this, then you have some idea of what life with God is supposed to be like.  "But we aren't in the garden with God!" you say.  You are wrong.  The Bible explains to us that we can have that place with God if we choose to do so.  God's already chosen to do so.  Christ died on the cross so that this event could not only happen but be a daily life for you and I.  What went wrong is still going wrong.  Our lives are clouded with all that we haven't turned over to God.  Understand that it's your and my choice to NOT be there.  It's always your and my choice.  So, why don't you and I live in this place with God?  Walking and talking with Him every moment of every day?  What is it that keeps us from desiring that kind of relationship with God?
For beginners, most Christians don't believe it's possible.  There are pastors that preach that this isn't possible and we shouldn't expect that kind of life.  Denominations and cults steal what God has given us and as Hal Lindsay states "have followed doctrines of demons."  In the garden with Adam and Eve there was no separation from God.  Why?  Because selfishness didn't exist. Sin didn't exist.  However, choice did exist just as it does today.  What do you choose?  Eve and then Adam chose to throw all of what they had away and that affects you and I today.  What Satan stole from Eve and then Adam was their love of God.  It's the same today.  Whatever the means and by whomever our love of God is being stolen because we don't guard our relationship with God.  Instead of shunning evil we embrace those of the world. I'm talking about Christians here.  The Christian has abdicated their life based upon selfishness.  Imagine your world where there was no strife, no loneliness, no  separation from God.  That's what God wants to have with you.  Pouring out grace and mercy has provided a means for you and I to have our own Garden of Eden.  We can approach the throne of  God and have intimate relations with the living God.  The Holy Spirit can be there throughout our day and night having fellowship with us.  Jesus is as close as the breath you take.  All it takes is our abandonment of our life.
What's it like to hear the audible voice of God?  What's it like to speak a word of knowledge from God? What's it like to discern the ulterior motive of the world?  What is it like to prophesy and to teach?  What's it like to lay hands on the sick and seeing them healed?  What's it like to speak the name of Jesus and see the demons flee?  What's it like to have the love of God so prominent in your life that people ask you what is it that causes you to love?  What's it like to not worry?  What's it like to have no fear of the future or the present?
It's the Garden of Eden and you are walking with God intimately.  AND...it's always your choice.
