Have you looked around you today?

Did you think?  Did you see?  Did you hear?  Did you feel?  Did you taste?  Did you love?  Maybe  you did them all in one context or another.  Maybe you were picking and engaging only the ones you want.  Maybe you even engaged the opposite of each?  Did you find yourself blind, deaf, without feelings and no taste for anything?  Maybe you hated.  Be very sure that you did something with or without others.  You either engaged or avoided engaging.  Both are actions.  Both have positive and negative consequences and you have chosen them for yourself.  You may have chosen them for your spouse, friend, children, friends and relatives or even your enemies.  But you did choose.  Perhaps you did think, see, hear, feel, taste and even love.  Did you learn anything?  Was it important to you?  Did you do these things as a Christian?  Maybe you don't really believe and thought you just did it for yourself.  Maybe.  Maybe not.  Every waking moment of every hour and every day, week, month and year you do these things.  The larger question is whether you do this as Jesus living for you or you living for yourself.  One is narrow road that leads to the foot of the cross.  The other leaves you wandering the world that belongs to the enemy.  Everything you think, say or do is either Jesus thinking, saying or doing through your surrendered person or it's the enemy living through you.  Remember it's your choice.
You were watched.  We all are being watched.  It's a bit scary to think of this unless of course you have no fear because you have Jesus living through you.  Fear, if you remember, doesn't have a negative connotation if you have Jesus living through you.  Does it bother you that the demons are watching you?  Did those things first listed today exist because you are being shown them by God or are they things the world has put before you?  Remember we are to be in the world but not of the world.  The Bible tells us to test every spirit.  This is spiritual warfare the Christian is called to engage by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Testing the "spirits" means asking them if they believe that Jesus came in the flesh and is the Son of God.  Yes, that means you will come before both the enemies sprits and angels sent from God.  Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit will enable you to know which is which.  Reading the Bible, going through ACTS and giving yourself to Jesus for his living through you will prepare you for this very necessary means of Christian living.
What is it you are waiting for?  You and those you care about are being attacked by the enemy day in and day out and they don't know it.  But now you do.  Why don't you do something?  "Father, in the Name of Jesus I command Satan to leave the person reading this, passing this along, or living the Gospel."  There, see how easy that was?  You have Jesus living through you, you have the Holy Spirit leading you and you have the Father moving heaven and earth to bless you, take care of your needs and to bring others to Jesus by the power of his name.  "Father, thank you for Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the angels of heaven for my safety, the safety of those who are taking the Word to the lost. Thank you."  See, how easy that is.  This is not complicated.  Nor is it difficult.  It's more difficult to stay in the world's deceptions than it is to let Jesus live through you.  Let him.  Have you looked around yourself today?
