Christians and the Word

The Word, Bible, is God breathed and the final word in Christians life.  The Bible is infallible and cannot be added to or subtracted from.  When we, Christians, come into any situation we should be able to say: "The Bible says________." with confidence and clarity.  For those who think the Bible is open for interpretation, there is not need to interpret separately from God's point of view.  When Christians and others take liberty to manipulate the Scripture for their own selfish desires, the Word is compromised.  The commands of God stay intact though as the Word never changes.  The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have existed for eternity past and will continue to exist for eternity future.  There is no shadow of turning on their part.  Yet the Christian thinks they can do this very act with impunity.  Well, you say, I'm an intelligent person and I can decide for myself.  Sorry, that's the first step away from God.  In fact you are telling God that you want to be the god of your own world.  That didn't work out for Satan, why should you succeed where he's failed?  Let's understand that there is one triune God Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that have breathed the Word, the Bible, for us.  This isn't that complicated people.  The very foundation of your faith is tied to your knowledge and love for God who loves us with a saving love.
With the redefinition of society taking place on all fronts it's easy to get caught up on that same process with the Word.  There is no "stay tuned for the next episode of the Word" written in the last chapter, last word, of the book of Revelation.  Nor is that found anywhere in the existing Word.  What does remain is the Word remaining to us what it was to people through the ages.  That same Gospel preached to us is the Gospel Jesus gave us and that we share with others.  Redefining the Word is a selfish way of being self serving.  Don't like what the Bible says about your sin?  Take the time to address your sin and the redefinition becomes a mute point.  Without the solidarity of the Word the Christian is nothing more than a wandering mass of people who neither have a leader or want one.  The result is people deciding to do what they think best.  That's why there are so many different denominations within the Christian faith.  Some have gone to fringe and have become cults.  Others have just touched in the world's plan of religion.  In both cases those who do so have either added to or subtracted from the Holy Word and are sinning.  Simple.
Are the words that come from you bathed in the Holy Spirit?  Do you speak the truth in love and thus glorify God?  The Word living through you will become either a word of salvation or a word of condemnation to many.  For others it will become a channel of teaching from the Lord himself.  If you aren't in the Word, you are in the world.  If you aren't letting Jesus living through you; the Word isn't living in you.  Thus deceiving those around you and doing the same to your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  If not yours, then those in the rest of the worlds church.  You remember, the church that is everything to everyone but nothing to God.  The blessing of God falls on those who honor Him.  Remember ACTS?  Are you honoring him?
