Any questions?

Proverbs 30:2-6  I am the most ignorant of men; I do not have a man's understanding.  I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knowledge of the Holy One.  Who has gone up to heaven and come down?  Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?  Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth?  What is his name, and the name of his son?  Tell me if you know!
Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.  Do not add to his words or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Any questions?  These verses' are packed with truth and conviction.  No matter the degree, position, or place in life there are no men who are NOT ignorant of the things of God.  What is his name and the name of his son?  He is the beginning and the end, the first and the last, the risen Savior and his name is Jesus!  How did they know to ask about the name of the son back before Christ's time on earth?  Because the Bible talked about it from the book of Genesis to the end of Revelations.  You and I cannot search the Bible to disprove God because there is nothing there to disprove God.  So why do we fight with God over what he means?  "Every word of God is flawless" is not a question.  It's a statement.  I often come into contact with people who challenge Scripture with all kinds of excuses, rationalizations and justifications.  They try to take apart the Scripture to find what they believe.  What you and I should believe is the Word of God.  No further beliefs are necessary or needed.  Note the promise: "he is a shield to those who take refuge in him".  Taking refuge in God means we don't stand on the fence exposing ourselves to the world and the devil.  Taking refuge in God means we don't have an area of our lives we have not submitted to God to care for.  Taking refuge in God means it's his fight and not ours.  Taking refuge in God is like being in the eye of a hurricane where there is peace.
The last part of the verse states "Do not add to his words or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.  Why?  Because if you add to the Word of God (or subtract from it) you are serving the father of lies Satan.  Simple enough.  That's what you get when you are NOT in the refuge of God.  There is no middle ground, gray area, questionable area, or area where we get to make up our own minds.  Every word of God is flawless.  Hence, our words, take on Scripture and belief of God is flawed.  Unless we have chosen Jesus and found our refuge in God.  There can be no waffling, no picking what we want to believe, no wishy washy thinking, and certainly no adding to or subtracting from what God has said.  You may wish it was that way.  The book of Revelation and Galatians both tell us that if we add to or subtract from the Word of God that our names will be stricken from the Book of Life.  That's serious.  By making the choice to believe that God is flawed, we choose to have our names stricken from the Book of Life which means there is no place in Heaven for us.  When the roll is read up yonder, will your name be there?  It's always your choice!
