One size fits all!

Now that we have been able to get to the mall and return whatever didn't fit, wasn't the right color and what we really didn't want; it's time to assess why one size doesn't fit all.  I've been guilty of buying a piece of clothing labelled this way and when I put it on at home the piece just wouldn't fit one of my legs much less both!  One size doesn't fit all just as clothing marked "unisex" are anything but!  We live in a world sought with generalizations for the ease of the manufacturer instead of the consumer.  They like us to think they do this one size fits all unisex thing just for us.  That's a lie.  It's for them.  Whatever they can do to dupe the consumer into believing this is something they can have to be like everyone else; they will.  Don't get me wrong.  Some items actually do fit the larger than life people like me.  Across the board we all are discouraged when we hold that shirt up to see if it wraps around our belly.  The same goes in the auto industry.  There used to be a day when you could easily order your color, style and accessories with no extra costs.  Can't do that anymore.  Want a cobalt blue 4 door sedan with an engine?  Look at this pink 2 door electric squirrel driven model for just a few dollars more!
We've been talked into settling for less than what we deserve and what we need and want.  "Close enough" is a byline of most people.  Close enough just doesn't do it for me.  Cheaper, like expensive, isn't always better.  Brand name versus generic isn't always about quality.  Any religion will do is not Christianity.  You knew I would get it in there sooner or later.  Yet, well intentioned dragons, would have you believe that Christianity is a religion of tolerance and inclusion.  That's simply not Biblical.  Christianity is not tolerant of worshipping other gods.  Christianity is not tolerant of blatant contrary standards just to increase the church coffers and personal pockets of televangelists.  Christianity is not inclusive of other beliefs that are similar or kinda like Christianity.  Christianity is no one size fits all and certainly not unisex.  Just because we don't want to stop sinning Christianity hasn't lowered it's standards like some politicians and politically correct agency wants us to do.  If a people will not stand for something they WILL fall for anything.  All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.  These two quotes alone expose what is going wrong for the world we live in.
There is no reason for a Christian to apologize or feel badly for other people's choices.  Especially if those choices are contrary to the Word and to what God has set before us as Christian people.  Just to be clear, it's not about legalism either.  Rigidity of belief doesn't translate into legalism.  I believe that Jesus came to earth as God, lived among us as God, died on the cross for me as God, rose from the dead for me as God and lives eternally in heaven AND in my heart.   There is no compromise.  There is no other way to live eternally with Him than through belief in Jesus.  There is no other God.  Jesus is it.  That's what the Bible say.  That's what the Holy Spirit confirms.  That's what the witness inside of me compels me to not only believe but to write, say and do in my life.  For those offended right about now, I'm a sinner and unable to go through a day without sinning just like you.  I'm a fallen creation that needs to be lifted daily from the mud I return to.  I'm also saved and going to live in Heaven for eternity not because of what I have done; but because of what He has done.
Jesus came to bring freedom from one size fits all and unisex compromise.  Jesus offers freedom from rather than enslavement to the world.  We don't need to keep up with the Jones.  We don't need to be politically correct.  We don't need to tolerate that which is contrary to how we believe.  We have been freed from all that keeps us from the love and grace of Jesus.  The Bible is clear that if we do not stand for and with Jesus then we stand against him.  One size fits all is not true.  Christianity fits just fine.
