It's still reality even if you can't see it.

While there seems to be enough in our day to acknowledge as real, there is so much more that we don't see.  Pain that exists in people's lives that no one sees, loneliness that seemly no one can see, and the scars, bruises and such of those abused are covered with clothing.  We put on our radio and drive with blacked out windows so that we can't be seen ignoring those around us.  The homeless on the corner are invisible to our eyes because of what ever reason that has hardened our hearts.  We cannot escape any of this as it's all around us all the time.  Try as we might reality is still there even if we don't see it.  The real questions is "Why isn't anyone doing something?"  No one can do everything but God.  But, everyone can do something.  The Scripture tells us that events and happenings have to get worse than they were in the days of Noah before Jesus comes back to take us home.  How much worse does it have to get?  The world has to hit rock bottom in terms of distancing itself from God.  That is clearly in process and is evidenced as we see all over the world.  The Scripture tells us that there will be wars and rumors of wars before the end comes.  Again, we see this evidenced throughout the world.  The Scripture tells us that people will turn against one another.  As this happens those we trust won't be trusted even at they don't trust us.  The worlds not supposed to get better even though we would like to see that happen.  It's still reality even if you can't see it or believe it.
Many Christians live daily with elements of their lives that no one sees because they don't look, no one hears because they don't hear and no one listens to the cries.  Sure, we love to rejoice with people when they rejoice and vice versa.  It's easy to stay in the positive.  It's difficult to help someone move from the negative to the positive unless you do see and hear the cry of their souls.  I know that Jesus does.  I grew up in a painful world hurt by those who should not have hurt me.  God was there.  I have seen traumatic events and incredibly violent incidents that have scared me forever.  I also know that this probably has happened to those reading this or someone whom you know.  Ignoring all of this is a daily task and so difficult.  So, why do people do it?  Why do people think they have to hide their reality from others?  I'm talking with Christians who have become alive in Christ.  What about those who don't know Christ?  What about we Christians ignoring these people who are in such a need for Jesus?  Do we really think ignoring the needs all around us?  Many have lived in need so long that they think this is normal.  It isn't.  It's still reality even if you can't see it.
What are the armies of Christ (us) going to do when it gets really bad?  When we encounter the trials and tribulations increasingly being heaped upon the believers?  It's going to get worse.  That's a fact.  You, as a Christian, are going to see the wrath of the devil heaped upon you by those around you, government entities, and the world in general.  This will be both physical and spiritual.  Will we become so engrossed with protecting ourselves, taking care of ourselves, and living for only ourselves that we can no longer see, hear and feel?  I certainly hope not even though I know from Scripture that we cannot escape all of this.  Being a Christian is not for the weak of heart, mind and will.  We need to stand up for Christ and see, hear and feel.  Doing that is good.  Doing what Christ wants us to do is what we can accomplish then.  Loving as Christ loved us is the answer.  We can't love is we ignore the reality around us in those whom God has brought into our lives.  Remember that it's always your choice.
